provides an e-learning platform for you to flexibly deliver your
programs and support your students.
Each
provider has a TAFE VC Administrator
who will organise the details for you to begin teaching from the
TAFE VC quickly and easily.
E-Learning
Tools Overview
The TAFE VC teaching and learning environment (WebCT) offers teachers
a range of options to assist them to manage their courses. Some
of the main features include:

basic course creation
- Selective
release of materials to students
- Personal
student websites
- Calendar

notes/journals
- Glossary
- Bulletin
board (also called the Web Discussion)
- Internal

- Chat tool

Any or all
of the functionality can be chosen and offered within the teaching
and learning environment. This could range from a simple communications
hub using the bulletin board and mail functions to web queries.

Using
the TAFE VC (WEBCT)
A basic teacher's guide to customising and delivering courses through the TAFEVC is available for VET practitioners who are new to the TAFEVC.
The
Online Courseware Catalogue (resources catalogue) also has a number
of WebCT specific Online Resources listed in the Qualifications
section of the catalogue under Development and Delivery of Online
Courses. These are readily available from the Provider Administrator. ·

Using
Online Courseware Catalogue (Resources Catalogue)
The Online
Courseware Catalogue contains a diverse range of resources. These
resources can be copied and modified to suit requirements.
Early resources
are often primarily text based and may look a little dated. Some
may not align directly with Training Packages. However, much of
the content in them is still very valid and they are available
for use or modification.
Your organisation
