Assignments

  1. Read the Instructions given on the assignment page.
  2. Click on the assignment to view it (this may open a new window or may ask you to load a file to open in a word processing package like Microsoft Word.
  3. Create your answer document (using your word processor ie. Microsoft Word).
  4. Click on Student Files to Upload your Assignment (in some cases this may require you to Upload more than one file).
  5. Click on Submit Assignment to choose the file(s) that contains your assignment that you have just uploaded.

Depending on how your unit/module has been set up by your teacher you may get an e-mail as soon as you submit your assignment. You may also get an e-mail in your external email account to confirm that your assignment has been submitted. If you have this option you will need to add your email address to the appropriate field when you submit your assignment.

When your teacher has graded your assignment. you can return to the Assignment Dropbox to see the grade that you have received for the assignment. You can see in the status column which assignments have not been submitted, have been submitted but not yet graded by the teacher and those that have been graded.

When the hyperlink Graded in the Status column is clicked, within WebCT, a table called "Assignment Dropbox Results" is returned whic enables you to see your results for the assignment and any comment that your teacher has made.
