The TAFE VC website contains learning modules offered, for enrolment, by registered training providers in Victoria. If you are looking for a flexible study option and you are considering an accredited TAFE Program, the TAFE VC allows you to enrol online and be accepted for study at a cost similar to on-campus study.
The TAFE VC is a Government service that provides Victorian Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) with a learning management system for the delivery of e-learning.
RTOs are allocated a secure (password protected) site within the TAFE VC. Teachers can develop their own courses to deliver to students or request a copy of a ready made resource from the Online Courseware Catalogue (courseware catalogue), which can be modified for your own purposes.
Students can look through the TAFE Online Courses Catalogue (courses catalogue) to review the e-learning courses on offer and then enrol online.
The WebCT Student Orientation site (http://www.webct.com/oriented) site has some useful information.
The Official WebCT manual (PDF - 609KB) is aimed more towards course developers, however it does provide information on how the various student functions work.
Visit the student course catalogue to view courses currently on offer.
If you have applied for enrolment, visit the application login to check on the progress of your application.
Use the registered user login if you are a registered user or have already enrolled in a course on the TAFE VC.
Use the administrator user login to access provider administration functions within the TAFE VC virtual campus.
Use the new user section if you would like to become a registered user. The easy to follow steps will guide you through the process.
Use this section to check the progress of your enrolment application.
The new student guide provides information on all of the features that the TAFE VC offers and how to use them.
