Owner Builders Online course released
The Owner Builders Online course was
developed for the TAFE VC at the
request of Lynne Kosky MP, Minister for Education and Training, in
response to changes in the regulations
that apply to owner building.
Designed
in partnership with the Building
Commission the online course
has been developed to assist
those who are:
• planning to build or renovate;
• concerned about the safety or legality of an existing building; or
• simply wanting a better understanding
of the building control
system.

Designing e-learning
Designing e-learning is latest professional development resource from
the Australian Flexible Learning Framework.
The site features:
- a click-and-view gallery of sample e-learning strategies (including
examples from TAFEVC)
- detailed samples of e-learning design demonstrating how teachers
can combine Learning Management Systems, face-to-face sessions and other
ICT tools to provide learning solutions.

e-Portfolio Launched
Friday 10 December
Jim Davidson, Deputy Secretary, Office of Training and Tertiary Education
launched the TAFE VC e-Portfolio at the
NET*working 2004 Breakfast Forum.
The e-Portfolio is available for students to develop their own personal
space. It can also be used by teachers
to facilitate online collaboration.
